Not aimed at any posters specifically and I do enjoy reading some ramblings but -
For at least some computer programs, lower post volumes will be translated as a positive alpha factor. Trading models are typically comprised of a list of weighted alpha factors which determine buy/sell signals so I don't expect that cutting out banta will be a silver bullet or even result in noticeable change (it depends which robots are in which stocks and with what weighting).

In my view, for the potential humans investor new to the CDY story, a thread with a low volume of high quality posts would be more likely to entice.
Likewise a closed circle of internet friends talking banta and drowning out the posts worth reading would likely deter interest.
