I'd keep an eye on the Jin Chuan Group (Ni and Platinum producer).

PLA could have strategic value for Chinese (esp the Panton Project) OR could make for a deep pocket JV partner.

However, perhaps this is just a pipe dream or bad rumor (given they have not come on as a cornerstone investor before now). OR perhaps management were reluctant to give away a significant slice of the company at fire sale prices?

Time will tell.
