Even if the market sentiment shifted and decided to destroy the stock during that period (which should be represented by larger than normal volume trading, which did not occur) then we would at least see the SP spike to close to 60c and then quickly drop.... but no.

You may be looking at historic share prices that have been adjusted for the consolidation. Pretty sure it was trading at $0.003/$0.004 per share and adjusted to the 4c price you mention. There was a rights issue at a 1c per share in mid 2015 and I recall it traded down after that.
