Just a little more light, perhaps covered by a layer of fog.

Been doing some research on Essential Energy (Government Owned) and they're attempting to augment their electricity supply in the Dubbo area along with increasing the 'green footprint'.

Where I'm stuck:

The Company has announced the use of their "subsidiary" (LOL) to handle the financing of the project. From what I can work out, raising funds will be via selling units of ownership (shares if you like) in the solar farm.

My question:

How does this funding strategy increase shareholder value when shareholders won't even own the project? Maybe we'll just get 5%....

Like I said, bottom drawer to see what happens.
