One o the reasons I thought we were being held back is possibly due to high levels of CO2 traditionally found in cooper gas.

Cooper gas traditionaly has between 12-30% CO2 content

Worse case for ever 3 ton of methane we get 1 ton of carbon costing $23 to vent to atmosphere but would probably be cheaper to pump under ground as there anre many dry holes out there to utilise.

So what 3 ton of methan worth?

160.8 x Pick your price say $5 = $804

Hardly material,$23 to get $804.

Given this will force a move to gas fired electic I think I like the carbon tax and it will easily drive the price of gas much higher
