Not sure if you are aware Mr/Mrs/Ms Mouse but Hot Copper provide a service called "ignore" whereby members are able to filter those they would prefer not to read.
To access this feature you click on the offending members avatar and select the ignore feature, normally one of the blue highlighted options.
By doing this it saves the board from reading low content posts by yourself and and @Skan8
It's a free service, don't be scared, give it a go.
