Sad news for all those that will be affected at Tesco. My first job as a 15 year old was at Tesco, back when it was still a challenger in the market (mid 90’s) and I felt proud to work there. The working conditions were excellent back then too and as a growing teen I loved the subsidised canteen food. I hope they find a way to minimise these cuts to both jobs and food quality and look more to innovation to grow profit and market share. Perhaps better energy management in the stores with some help from Buddy Platform might help?
