    ref my comment above. Lots of brokers do inside xing of their clients stocks (one wants to buy one wants to sell). I'm under the impression that they do this off market but show the transaction on market. So your stock is still there in first place but trades have been going on at a (or many) brokers doing xings without ever going onto the open market. why is it allowed...i'm sure they have their logic, but for me its provides a great opportuntiy for these brokers to manipulate the market
