This is true. If Biosignal can provide a service to these companies that controls biofilms successfully, say, 100 times better that current methods, then it will virtually eliminate downtime associated with fixing damage to infrastructure from Microbial Induced Corrosion. As BOS says, this is currently worth $2 Billion to them, even with existing (but somewhat ineffective) treatments.

I think even 10% of this cost would be well spent on insurance :-)
