So it is possible that the Orphan Drug Application was sent in late in 2018 and became embroiled in the US Govt partial shutdown that started on the morning of Dec 22 2018.
Either that or it wasn't worth sending it in until the FDA and its departments are completely back in action.
Bit of a shame but I guess we will all have to wear it until the US decides to get its act together.
Hope its not until the "wall" is actually built.
