Thanks Dentie & Siren for the responses. I can assure you, without being sexist, that I don't look anywhere near as good as Maria and in fact look more like a whiteant than a redant.
Now that the wheels are in motion I am thinking a little further ahead on how small shareholders may be able to respond to any attempted takeover or similar action. I have been involved previously in action to try to force the Directors of RHG (formerly Rams Home Loans) to distribute to shareholders some of the very substantial cash holdings that they were sitting on. We did that through the Intelligent Investor but they met the costs which were quite substantial. Is there any organisation other than solicitors that would be available to co-ordinate a response if required?
