I have been curious about the so called key competitor Statsports and below are their end 2017 accounts. Having a cursory look, you will see to what scale do they have their operations..

Statsports' Book Value Equity just a year ago was $1.8M AUD (less than 1 mil pounds). Catapult is $127M book value wise, 127 times what Statsports had.

Rental units wise (the ones that they give to teams and somehow then this is amortised I believe), Catapult has $7.56M on book value as at 30 Jun 2018, as compared to Statsports of $1.15M (640k GBP). Catapult is 6.6 times bigger.

Cash wise, Statsports has a meagre ~$1M end of 2017. Statsports obviously has continued cash injection from its shareholders (not sure how much is given in 2018) and Catapult has $33.6M.

Employee wise, Catapult is about 4 times bigger than Statsports.

From whatever angle you look at Statsports, how many years do you think Statsports is behind Catapult? I think it's at least 3-5 years behind Catapult in terms of scale and capabilities. To hire 240 people to Statsports, even if you use graduate salary of 30k GBP/year, their shareholders will have to fork out $13M in salary alone! Do we really think their shareholders have committed tens of millions of dollars per year to boost up Statsports? How is Statsports going to impede Catapult from becoming the market leader in sports wearables and analytics?
