Check your link again sircorp.

Goldfields for Thursday Scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in northern and eastern parts. Light to moderate W/SW winds.

i.e. where Mt Barrett is.

Additionally, I don't believe it has been Laverton weather affecting drilling, but other parts of WA. The drilling rig was obviously in use on another project, and perhaps it got stuck there because of rain in that area.

Bit of common sense and patience wouldn't go astray right now...
