71c4 re TMX - I think great western which has a defined high grade ore body and open and needing more expansion work is firstly starting with an open pit so all old working will just be swallowed up then underground after chasing high grade if my memory is correct.
Honestly I worked in both underground and open cut gold mines for over 10 years with no deaths or serious incidents and consider the mining community are very professional and who don't take on sill risks?
Also when you resource drill just before mining and during as you mine so they basically selective mine out blocks in the correct order to manage the availability of high grade ore to make sure cash flows etc. are meet each months.

They have real gold it will make money and it will be done safely or the mines department will not let them start!!
