There's a comment in the RWD announcement that says "trenching will occur continuously as sections of the lake are allowed to recover". Looks like the old capex/sustaining capex argument - i.e. we only need 50km of trenches... for the first month.
AMN explicitly state that their 250km of trenching is for 20 years production.
