I would imagine the test would be done on a standard Medium processing type laptop or PC, with typical memory and typical hard drives, and that it is accessing the data from a standard internet connection to maybe an Amazon server, located in Singapore or Sydney.

Is there any performance metrics for the real-term performance, hardware specifics etc.

However shareholders will be oblivious to any of this.
