Good morning all,
as you know I didn't attend the AGM, but felt intrigued enough to call GTE. I did this 10 days ago, Nov 29.
and got through to our CEO, we spoke for a bit over half an hour.
Below is a summary, of sorts, and not a full commentary.
1. On our stock price.
Of course GTE isn't happy at being hammered. At the same time other junior explorers are also having a hard time this year.
2. On Yandal Gold and May Queen.
Jordan is still optimistic about this area, and some results are coming out in December. The geology of the area is complex,
hence requiring additional time to evaluate it.
3. On the Fairbairn region.
Quite a bit of work has been done in this area this year, and the company has plans for it in 2019. Vague, yes, but
an ASX announcement should come out on it - soon. Maybe, by January.
4. On news to shareholders (general).
Jordan mentioned, nothing specific, BUT that some interesting news to shareholders will come out in December, before Xmas. Ten days on,
this now means, between Mon Dec 10 and Fri Dec 21. Other interesting news, should come out in January.
5. Other comments.
Shareholders should call the company more. They like to get feedback !!!!!
GTE is very careful in testing its drilled out samples, this takes more time than maybe other junior explorers, creates a slow news sequence
for shareholders, and in the present international economic climate - reduces funds coming into mineral exploration in Australia.
GTE likes to keep a low profile news wise, when investigating various areas. Its believes that certified discoveries when they occur, should
be broadcasted, but a lot of the preparatory work, not so. Unlike some other junior exploratory miners.
