As a long term client with my broker I've been able to negotiate to be one of the last ones kicked off Trader but unfortunately it is going to happen at some point so I'm trying to bring myself up to speed with Viewpoint.
Major annoyances so far:
Text is way larger so you fit less watchlist stocks on your screen compared with Trader. I was told to adjust this by changing the font size in the Browser setting but it doesn't seem to come through into Viewpoint
In the News feed they've moved the stock code from the far left column to the far right and you can't move it back. I like to see the stock code first
Once you detach the Outstanding Orders widget the 'in-line action' no longer appears. So if you want to cancel an order it appears you have to go back to the attached widget
In general it just seems slow. More functionality but slower. In Trader the market depth reposnds much quicker when you type in a stock code and when placing/amending an order in Trader the response is almost instantaneous. In Viewpoint, I'm finding this takes around 5 seconds or more
