SJHM - that would be significant if qgc 'swapped' their high cost/low profit gas and put it through SGL's high profit gas contracts - bet AGL would love that!
Saw the following quote from Cottee in The Courier Mail 30/1/06-
"If we can have gas-fired power stations at both Chinchilla in the Surat Basin and in the Hunter Valley we could swap optional gas from Queensland if NSW is the high priced region to replace Sydney Gas' contractual commitments and commit all of that gas into high price power generation and vice versa," he said.
