Congrats on your honesty, many won't admit these things. I have studied a long time, read many books and was lead up many garden paths. If you are serious about charting I suggest getting proper/real teachings. Like everything in the stock market there are so many who will simply lead you around in a circle, I am more over speaking of subscriptions and packages. Simply put you will be astounded by how few technicians can actually chart. However I wish to caution you on candles and there use. Candles are an excellent guide to market psychology for that day,or week, they should really only be used with other analysis, to trade off candles ,especially in this market I feel would be very risky. Most online broking houses have a candle reference sheet for you to easily access, simply put it makes money for them, these signals will whip you in and out all over the place.If look at the top of my post with the chart tonight you will see I have it as a reply from my original chart. Note how in your candle statement and an answer from the weekend, I think, talk about a "sideways movement" or 16 bars. Look at point "A" last low and point "B" last high, we have not made lower lows or higher high's, these are needed for a trend, hence we are sideways, accumulation or distribution. I am unable to prattle on and explain in depth but this pattern only unfolds during accumulation of particular kinds, controlled mainly. Nothing is certain in trading, but with good technicals and good fundamentals you get the best chance of getting it right, and that's where we are here. All of this takes a lot of work, so after being helped and provided with some of the fantastic work on the fundamentals here by TRH posters I try to repay that with some TA.My adviceis take it slow use your head nad learn only one thing at a time if you do not take on the course.
