Labour leader such as SA Premier Mike Rann is calling for Labour party to remove the uranium ban which I believe WA will be the first to lift its ban. Even if they don't, the next state election will have them kick out of office anyway. By then SIM uranium mines are just about ready to load onto ships destine for China. Lol.
The world leaders are calling for expansion of nuclear powers to overcome high oil price and reduce greenhouse effect. With uranium price continue to go higher and higher, do you think any Labour politician is willing to sit back and stick to their personal principle and believe and miss out on huge revenue and keep them in office ? I doubt it as politician will do anything to get into office and money is the most powerful tool for them.
Don't loose sight that SIM also strike very good gold grade at their Bardoc tenement and they're also exploring for copper and nickel as well.
