the rail line is due to be completed by 2H 2009. The port is being done now with the govt spending $500m on its refurbishment. The barging operation is also getting closer. i think riv will announce some contracts in due course to get the mine running by 2010. CVRD will also bring on their mine site around the same time from what i recall. If you read the presentations, you can see where all that is at the moment. we were lucky that a rail system and port were already there even though they need repairs. i think some of the emerging iron ore miners in WA have bigger infrastructure problems at the moment. RIV also has a major airport that can land jumbo's that belongs to the town. riv reminds me of the formative days of Fortescue when everything really started to come together.dyor.
