Hello all,
Today i finally contact ALF at 1pm regarding market concern of profits to maintain healthy dividend. I asked how many dividends could be payed from existing profit reserves at the current rate of 6cps per half year. I mentioned that Justin said the next TWO dividends were payable at the current level from profit reserves.
One hour later I received a responce, great communications and reassuring!!
"Hi Ivan,
Justin’s comments at the AGM were very much on the money. By quarantining monthly profits in recent years, ALF has built up a health reserve and franking balance such that the board is confident it can hold the dividend at current levels in FY15. We need to make profits in order for the company to remain in this position and while those have been hard to come by, we are working very hard to reverse the trend of the last 6 months in 2015.

So, guess they have a year to turn around a few bad months, and outperform again. They do have an excellent track record, long and short to produce income, and outperm history!
I'll be buying more at 1.40，as my thoughts are the market is unsure of premium is underperformance, and waiting for the dividend, IMO
