Few investors would be aware that the present enquiry will not bring down a report until next October. Sure hearings will wind up at the end of this month, but further written submissions (including AWB-and the whole raft of issues still need lots of time for consideration by Mr Cole )
This means NOTHING will happen, if anything at all, to AWB, until October. Government keen to get this one behind them and negative AWB publicity will die down.
Share price is only 40 cents from halfing in 6 weeks.
AWB has confirmed Sept 2006 profits of about $157 million (same as last year).
Absolute no brainer that share price will go back up between now and October. Just a case of picking the low.
