As a former holder of Coffey , I say they still carry too much debt on the balance sheet , and a $ 100 million chunk of their assets is " goodwill " ....
... they need to reduce the debt , and write off the " goodwill " .... take the pain , and clean up the books ...
Mining services is a tough space to be in at the moment , as holders of Ausenco , Cardno , Transocean , etc will attest .... but tough times don't last forever ...
