Sensational posts from Cameron and March09. I continue to learn. I use a 'top down' approach v. 'bottom up'. It has been esp useful in anticipating the GFC and i always look at the macro B4 the micro. Nevertheless, both are important. I too look for companies where CAPEX is minimal and talented engineers/designers etc are the firm's biggest and best asset. The company closest to COF is CDD. I have recently bought into CDD and will soon post my reasons (on CDD thread) for doing so. Time permitting i would be appreciative if either Cameron or March09 ran-their-ruler across this engineering consultancy.
PS. I did look at COF prior to buying CDD but found latter superior on many counts.
