I agree that they aren't as profitable in Indonesia...but
Australia has a population of approx 23m people.
Indonesia has a population of approx 250m people.
Indonesia represents a market more than 10x the size of Australia. Even if CCL are only making half as much on drinks sold in Indonesia, and they manage to win the same level of market share in Indonesia as they have here, they will be making 5x more in Indonesia compared to Australia.
If having the exclusive rights to sell one of the most recognisable brands in the world to the 4th most populous country in the world doesn't offer growth potential then I'm not sure what does.
I'm sure you have travelled and realised that the costs of products and therefore margins that retailers make in other countries are very different to Australia. I would argue international retailers who have access to larger markets, even if it's at lower margins tend to be better off. Simply comparing 'mark ups' between two countries misses a large part of the equation.
