I dont know of any simply cobalt mines except in Zambia. It's a rare enough metaal that if a lot comes on it upsets the price. In 2009 therre was a shortage of Co. The price went to $50/lb and as usual everyone was re- badging themslves as Co. producers. I'm happy wiht $12/lb.
I can't believe that the 1.5 % Co. grade will be in any large tonnages. I wouldnt want to posit a geological style at his point. Occurence with copper says porphry but disruptions and over printing in area to give CSA style deposits makes that moot. (Glencore will be in our face soon enough.)
BTW:(by coincidnece)if you look up MTM-the stock. They have the Greenvale Ni-Co mine with some Scandium.
Should keep you gentlemen busy for a while.
