Sure is ridiculous. Bottomed and now in an uptrend. Strategy change from Nickel focus to gold, and a ripper of a project with a new major shareholder in Silver Lake, on top of other enviable major holders like Barrick and Independence Group.

I have posted twice in the Silver Lake threads asking about their thoughts on the deal, and blank answers ensue. If I held Silver Lake I would be most interested, as for them its a risk free way of unlocking non-core asset value- on potentially brilliant non-core assets. A potential Mill feeder.

We all know lots of exploration cost is required in deep gold country especially at Moyagee, and a continuous drilling news-feed will follow. Likewise at Hollandaire, where previously stated "The potential for a 10 kilometre long base metal/gold corridor is unfolding." Which includes the previously mined Rapier gold deposit mined by Newcrest.

They will need to raise money within the next 12 months even though they have $2.1m in the bank (and no debt), due to the high exploratory budget, though on the same token MD's reduction in admin costs is also comforting.

But I like to think forward thinkers on MGV may in fact be well rewarded in the future. The territory is brilliant and our neighbours impressive.

Plus the huge landholding in Musgrave is a real kicker, prospective for many base metals. Development of the outback way as posted earlier will create greater accessibility to this largely unexplored well endowed region.
