cobalt fundamentals vs index

    Thought I'd try to start a convo about cobalt fundamentals - commodity price, consensus outlook - versus actual stock performance and volume on the ASX, as shown in the index I've been updating, featuring some of the bigger explorers and developers (but not current producers).
    Here's the latest:

    More complex views are myriad now on HC and the web, this might do for starters. Positive news seems to appear nearly every day now, as well as a few dissenting perspectives based largely on speculative substitutability.

    How can we explain the apparent lack of investment interest atm? Uncertainty? Cycles? Biding time? Secret insider knowledge? Lack of decent projects? A wider market stall? General economic conditions? Will another leg up occur July-November? How long will the market remain depressed? etc.

    I noted on the cobalt index thread that the recent apparent stability in the market cap index is caused by cap raises during falling prices. CLA and AML aren't doing too bad lately either, but the overall cobalt scene seems deflated, evidenced in the low volumes.
