The guy was trying to shift the Cobalt price. Since the 1st June it has dropped US10k/ton. Reality is the price here is unsustainable and not good for th industry.. Needs to find an equilibrium and more supply or Battery Manufacturers will push to phase it out.. At the moment the data I have seen is there is not easy candidate today to replace.
Panasonic is the JV partner of Mush in the Gigafactory basically admitting they need a heap more so it is just Musk shooting his mouth off again.. I agree eventually new more advanced battery tech will come but I don' think we will see mainstream adoption for at least 5-10 years.. And as always, price point will be massive in first generation so will be limited to premium products etc etc etc..

In the meantime, hoping to get some updates from MEI in the next weeks around what is next.. Must be some planning going on around this drilling and some more updates on the field program. Plus I know BMR has two drill rigs on Iron Mask.. That is a positive sign.. BMR have gone silent during preparing to list and I am sure they will have to put all their latest data on Iron Mask in their Prospectus.. If they are hit big, I would expect a big run here.
