The thing about alcohol and credit is, cheap doesn’t necessarily create problems or after party mess..it’s ease of access to cheap alcohol/credit that give rise to the potential for messy parties.
Look at rates now they are still low but access is tighter following political and regulator pressure, which should have been applied earlier in addition to changes to taxation policy to reduce subsidised speculation in the sector.
