    Certainly, distance to the market and quality are key determinants of price. However, with the Tavan Tolgoi coming on stream, delivering 30mtpa of coal, supply could have an impact on coal prices as well.

    Also, Tavan Tolgoi is only 270km from the Chinese border and will receive a significant transport cost advantage over TVN 610km away.
