Thanks sierra for those links - at last somebody is talking about the booming AEMO prices.

there is a chart there of 4 States daily average RRP from April 2015 updated to yesterday.
Over a few weeks I have emailed several in media but nobody interested in the story.
I do not think it is correct to regard the AEMO RRP's as "wholesale prices" -
They are just the prices needed to keep the various grids stable and volumes are probably quite small compared to the entire State demand.
