Surface temperatures are rising, you can look at the UAH dataset and see it. The only difference is that it isn't corrupted, and uses the 1981-2010 baseline.
But that makes up 28 % of the globe, the other 72 % is not. And then factor in the 3 dimensional atmosphere as well, up to 9 km high, it isn't even noticeable unless two things happen.
The Arctic warms in December through to March, or we have an El Nino. Otherwise nothing, as the data shows. There will be another slight uptick in March, so you will be able to live in delusion for one more month.
So, yet again bellcurve, you have donuts, at this rate by the end of 2019 you might get a hatrick of Krispy Kremes.
