First up... I have no idea who the website Australian Sceptics are or their views, which may or may nor have something to do with their name.
I have never read their website. Just because I promote scepticism as a means of determining the truth doesn't mean I have anything in common with them. I feel being sceptical and requiring solid evidence is better than being a sheeple.

Secondly, the media get their leads from statements by scientists. It is the scientists that are the primary cause of the ( false) alarmism Their false alarmist statements have been posted on here ad nauseum. No-one can honestly deny what has been said by climate scientists and how consistently wrong they have been.

Thirdly, not all the scientific community agrees that there will be a negative effect. Indeed some of the most reputable scientists disagree.

Fourthly, your statement that "there is an effect which must have an effect" is incorrect because you automatically assume the effect must be negative, but there is nothing to suggest that. Indeed, all things considered global warming has been overwhelmingly positive so far. All documented many times on here.
Fifthly, you argue that I say results have not hit projections, which I didn't. I stated that all alarmist claims/predictions have been proven wrong to date. They have all been listed on here many times. As for temp increases from models, the same scientists who made all the false predictions are the ones who claim that the models are within range. Clearly they are not. Again the graph produced by John Christy, a prominent and well respected climate scientists says they are not within cooee. Also has been shown on here many times..... Once more for your benefit.

Seventh, low lying ground floods, however, Not one climate refugee so far to date, despite predictions of 50 million by 2010. Then we also have the fact that coral atolls are shown to rise along with sea level and Bangladesh which floods every year is increasing in size and height. if you could possibly think about it, You might even be able to work out why this happens instead of believing alarmists statements. Then consider that sea level rise is 1.3 mm per year and that is ~ the long term average. No increase in rate of sea level rise.

Eighth, you link me to vaccine denial in attempt to smear me, yet I have posted numerous times my support for vaccines and believe it should be 100% compulsory. They are a good thing. I think anti vaxxers are complete nutjobs. So again you are wrong.

Lastly you state that I said temp increase would have no effect... I didn't.. I stated that " There will not be enough significant change to worry about and whatever little change there is will not be worth the exorbitant cost of trying to negate. So we Just adapt as we go along. "
I don't know how you think you can argue your case when you cannot even get the intent of my statements correct.

I stand by my that statement and believe it is the most logical and most prudent way forward, given the paucity of hard evidence for any other scenario. The money saved can be directed to where there is the most need and will do the most good.

    CLIMATE CHANGE IS A RELIGION.
