In 2016 we increased the temperature by 1 degree due to the Super El Nino, the last one for this warm ocean cycle.
I didn't see any ill effects, crops were enhanced in large parts of the globe, and greening is continuing to increase.
The warmer the better, a 1 degree temperature increase would not even be noticeable in daily life. We would all still see the same frosts, droughts, floods, snowfall, etc etc. It won't affect the weather.
The problem is, we cant get that high with Super El Ninos, because of the increased water vapour. The next Super Nino in 2032 is gong to be similar to the 1998 one, and get us up to maybe 0.7c, because of the drop off that is coming in the next decade. It all revolves the oceans, the temperature follows the oceans and the oceans are now losing heat, the warming we have seen over the past 43 years is now finished, as both cycles are heading back into a negative.
Pretty soon we are going to also see a tropical volcano go off, and then its well and truly over, natural variability will then be at the top of the pecking order. So I doth think a 1 degree change will amount anything other than better standard of living for everyone, agricultural people, and life in general.
