No. coal power stations simply can't just be shut down every winter they can't operate like that. You have to have some experience in this industry before you comment on these things to understand how they operate coal fired power stations run 24 seven and Iare constantly fed by tons of coal every day - they can't simply shut down and then started up again when the weather warms up. Regardless
there's no need for these coal-fired power stations at all - they are not economically viable which is why they are closing down (Energia)
No one is being radical by suggesting we get rid of coal, the sooner the better
