If the series of articles about Centro are accurate, and most of those have similar themes, CNP will survive as an entity, either in its entirety or through a partial sale of assets, i.e. U.S., reducing debt. While it is true there will be dilution, the shares are only .15cents. Whats more investors don't seem to recognize that property valuations/appraisals involve an income and replacement cost component as well as a market value component. Hence, the assets are very conservatively valued(imho). There is little downside as I see this investment with a possible short term bump or long term gain. The past is not necessarily prologue and all too often, our analysis is illogically tainted by it.
