Why would the Chinese authorities have any opinion whatsoever on what BAL does outside the Chinese market? I am willing to wager they could not care less - their sole job is to approve/deny accreditation for selling inside China. They have no jurisdiction to do anything else. And considering China sales make up just 9% of BAL's output, the company is hardly going to delay introducing a new line on the say so of a minority customer...
