Thanks for the clarification. The translation "error" would certainly explain why the issue only occured in Japan.
By the way you say the tubes were made by BD. I was always under the impression they were made by Greiner. It is an important distinction but I like to get my facts right and having a market leading, blue chip like BD making the tubes is an advantage compared to having them made by an "also-ran".
