This is my conclusion as well eshmun. I just don't see how Hawke's Point can reject the deal (or a slightly sweetened one) from Regis with the CMM board recommending it. A financing deal is just not possible in this gold environment and with CMM's current market cap and financial position.
Consequently I bought on open this morning as I think it a good bet that Regis will get the gig.
