Maybe my reading of the situation is incorrect.
Looking at page 22 of the Annual Report '17 and the pages previous. Are the performance shares what is categorised as 'share based payments' and as such as the performance shares are worked through these will cease?
If that's the case then I would take back that his salary is 'very high' as I said but rather say 'very fair' given relocation subsidy as well as performance shares being combined with renumeration to give overall visibility to renumeration.

We can look elsewhere in the Annual Report as well as recently announced 3Bs from the company to work out which performance shares have already been issued and which remain. Some are around minimum EBITDA and others are around App downloads.

@theworst911 says, there are lots of options that will likely lapse that I presume many are owned by management though I haven't yet checked (you can see the options, the strike price and expiry date outlined in the 3Bs).
