I wouldn't presume that gap filling means a return to it's price beforehand, just that gaps like to fill before moving on - kind of a magnet holding it back
Trade the stock on whatever you feel it's potential is.
I initially bought ARI from (mostly) feeling that it was way oversold as one holder dumped a huge amount of stock over 3 days and then they were completely out. I figured it had to bounce, even with it's huge debt and implied risk.
I wanted to hold longer (had a target price of 3.7) but that fall from 3's means a lot of buyers are holding losses and it puts a whole nother kind of pressure on, holding it back a bit as well if you like.
Happy to have done the trade I did and leaving it alone now
incidentily, I bought back into BDR today as I saw the price of Gold broke out and that was a very good sign to me.
Even though it's just created a new gap on open today! LOL.
If that fills in the coming weeks, so be it. I feel more comfortable holding this one as I feel it's got potential to see 50c sometime this year (currently under 30).
