It would be good to know who the shortfall shares went to, any insto's?
IMO due to where the companies SP has sat over several years any news/revenue that causes a share price rise will;
1) Have a shake out effect and tempt smaller holders to just jump ship if they can get a return cutting their losses especially if they have been in a while.
2) Possibly have some larger holders sell some holdings, probably less so any new holders.
For several reasons specific to this company/the product/industry etc it would have to be some exceptional news to get a large enough pump going, any new holders looking for quick profit would immediately be in competition with longer term holders who want to get out.
It's not a sexy stock in a new industry with volatile share price movements but if they get up and running these things will be positives.
There is certainly an "opportunity cost premium" that has to be paid for this share for longer term holders/supporters of the company that's for sure.
Waiting to see what news the CEO brings back from his recent trip to the East Coast.
