NEW YORK (MarketWatch) -- Coca-Cola Enterprises [s:CCE] said Wednesday that third-quarter earnings were $247 million, or 50 cents a share, compared to $214 million, or 44 cents a share, in the same period a year ago. Revenue fell 3% to $5.57 billion compared to $5.74 billion. Adjusted earnings per share were 51 cents versus 46 cents. Analysts polled by FactSet Research estimated, on average, earnings per share of 45 cents and sales of $5.71 billion. Coca-Cola Enterprises raised its 2009 earnings-per-share view to a range of $1.54 to $1.57.
