Yes non specific gender terms are stupid

Having grown up in an earlier time I still (I hope) retain some old fashioned habits which are sometimes objected to, but other time liked, such as holding a door for someone of the female gender so they can enter. or opening the car door for them. Some of the very opinionated feminists types actually like it very much, which gives me hope.

Women are from Venus and men from Mars and all the PC and feminist propaganda can't change it.

I do wish sometimes that gender description on HC was shown but I suppose there would be too much gender profiling if we did that, it's a shame though as it rules out certain courtesies that would otherwise flow.
