I think people will agree that if we can plant more trees instead of cutting them down this will be our best fight against climate change. But No it seems like all the changers want is to shut down coal and have us all reliant on wind and solar which have their own drawbacks. First they are both unreliable and need battery storage. Second think of all the minerals which need to be mined to create the batteries the steel needed for the turbines needs iron ore and coal to be mined. Third we can't even recycle cardboard in Australia are we going to have scrap yards full of lithium batteries in 20 years just hoping China will take them for recycling. So I say simple solution burn coal and plant trees.
