Thanks RichE for finding the BizJournal article. It fills in some details, namely that Foss and other KSC execs left Petrohawk in early 2008 when his division was sold off. They formed Force 5 Energy (F5E) soon after.

EnCap Investments (which funded F5E with $100m) is still an active private equity company for oil and gas. It lists current investments, but Force 5 isn't there, nor under "selected realized investments."

I agree that the lack of mention of Texon in Foss's LinkedIn account is likely due to his lack of involvement with social media.
