Initial CFDA approvals over first six months were very fast, 41 batches were announced; then CFDA merged and changed to SAMR, only 4 batches of CFDA/SAMR approvals were announced over last nine months.
It's estimated there're still around 132 infant formulas (or about 43 brands) lodged by 27 December 2017, are waiting for SAMR approval.
Bellamy's application was lodged around December 2017, would be one of them waiting on the list, imo.
Latest SAMR approval frequency, ~6 brands every two months.
